In 1995, ICON Digital Productions was founded by Juan Lau, Peter Evans, and Peter Yeung. From its inception, ICON was a pioneer in the print industry being one of the first in Canada to specialize in digital large format printing. As the large format print market became increasingly saturated, ICON looked to differentiate by becoming early adopters of digital signage. Now armed with a strong portfolio showcasing transformations of physical mediums, ICON expanded its presence into the digital world with services in content creation and video production – transforming us into an industry-leading omni-channel marketer. From its humble beginnings as a large format printer based out of a 2000 square foot facility in Toronto, ICON has grown into a full-service visual communications agency with offices in Toronto, Montreal, and New York. Our mission to bring an All Things Visual approach to business solutions was born.
All Things Visual is our strategy to help brands create remarkable moments across digital and physical channels as one partner that understands your needs and strategic objectives. Today, ICON has a team of over 200 strong across 2 divisions (ICON Visual & ICON Media) and continues to find innovative ways to bring our clients’ messages to life. Our projects can be found across a wide variety of brands in industries such as retail, transportation, sports & entertainment, fragrance & cosmetics, finance, hospitality, automotive, and consumer-packaged goods (CPG). Our company name represents strength and innovation, both of which are necessary for growth and success within our respective industries; and our two divisions support the commitment we give to our clients to continue being leaders in All Things Visual.
ICON has two facilities based in Toronto, Ontario dedicated to manufacturing, production and creative technology. With additional sales offices in New York City and Montreal, ICON provides project management and installation support across North America.
