In celebration of Pride Month, ICON collaborated with Adidas and local artist Sarah Skrlj to install and create a vibrant mural at Adidas Eaton Centre. The project aimed to support and amplify LGBTQ+ visibility and inclusivity within the community.
Sarah Skrlj, a talented artist known for her unique style and captivating designs, was chosen by Adidas to lead the creative process. Skrlj’s artistic approach seamlessly combines bright colours, intricate patterns, and bold imagery, making her an ideal collaborator for this project.
The mural itself is a vibrant celebration of Pride in the city. It serves as a powerful representation of identity in Toronto and aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors to the store.
The installation process involved meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that the mural seamlessly blended with the architectural elements of the space. Here, ICON Visuals team took the digital art designed by Sarah and produced the art on a temporary low-tac vinyl. Our installation team took the rolls of graphics, and within a few hours, Sarah’s art had come to life properly showing off Adidas’ new pride collection.
Overall, this partnership showcases the power of art to promote inclusivity and acceptance. The mural stands as a testament to the creative possibilities when talented artists, leaders in All Things Visual, and a commitment to diversity come together.
