In October 2022, Canadian Tire celebrated its 100th anniversary with their employee event – “A Celebration of a Century”. As part of the festivities, ICON was tasked with transforming the Coca-Cola Coliseum into an exclusive, one-night-only event. ICON was given a 2-day turnaround time to help cover up all pre-existing Toronto Marlies branding and partner ad spaces – a typical a week scope that spans the concourse, lower bowl, and upper bowl areas of the stadium.The finished product resulted in ICON Visual’s graphics wrapping the entire coliseum highlighting Canadian Tire's iconic red and white branded colours along with imagery and memorabilia showcasing the brand’s milestones throughout the years. The large format graphics on display throughout the stadium includes door, floor, and wall vinyl, custom fabric backdrops, elevator wraps, foamboards, banners, backlit signs, in-bowl animations, and banners and pillar wraps. Likewise, the exterior included directional signage and column wraps, with ICON Media managing content on the exterior digital boards at Coca Cola Coliseum and the nearby BMO Field. It was a celebration of the century for one of Canada’s oldest retailers, one that featured Canadian celebrities like Michael Buble and thousands of loyal stakeholders.
