ICON Partnered with the SickKids Foundation on their new the "Heal the Future" campaign, an initiative that marked a significant shift towards Precision Child Health (PCH) in paediatric care. This transformative project aimed to convey a message of hope and healing within the SickKids hospital, with a focus on the visual transformation of the facility.
The project was bound by a tight timeline due to the campaign's launch schedule, requiring efficient and swift execution. The primary goal was to create a symbol of hope and healing at the heart of the hospital, aligning with the essence of the "Heal the Future" campaign. Additionally, the project aimed to transform the hospital's visual landscape to inspire positivity and optimism among patients, families, and staff.
At the core of the transformation was a of a 900-inch atrium banner, serving as a powerful symbol of hope and healing, and embodying the "Heal the Future" campaign's message. To add an element of inspiration to daily journeys through the hospital, six elevators were wrapped with vinyl graphics carrying messages of optimism. Moreover, the rotunda, a central gathering place within the hospital, received graphics that conveyed a feeling of positivity and healing. The installation was completed overnight, allowing patients, visitors, and staff to be greeted by the graphics the following morning.
ICON was honoured to contribute to the "Heal the Future" campaign, making a positive impact by transforming the visual landscape of the SickKids hospital.
