For the first time since 2018, UFC made its return to Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena for UFC 297, and ICON was at the forefront. At the heart of our project was the transformation of Gate 1. We produced and installed vinyl graphics at both Bay Street and York Street entrances, welcoming fans into the world of UFC. The main Gate 1 entrance saw a dramatic makeover with custom vinyl wraps, turning it into an iconic UFC landmark and setting the tone for the event. Outside the arena, ICON’s expertise was showcased through stage banners for the iconic prefight press conferences and weigh ins. A highlight of our work was the creation of bout cards. These cards, detailing the matchups, were not just informational but also a key element of the event’s aesthetic. Alongside these, we produced autograph cards for fan interactions, bringing a personalized touch to the event and creating memorable keepsakes for UFC enthusiasts.

This collaboration for UFC 297 underscored ICON’s capability in transforming a space into an immersive sporting experience. From entrance wraps to stage banners and custom prints, our work with UFC at Scotiabank Arena exemplified how strategic visual solutions can elevate a sporting event into an unforgettable experience for fans and athletes alike.
